This is a good piece--thank you for posting it. I think it is interesting that more P.E. helps kids learn, not less. Also, that starting an activity early in life enables one to become an expert. This happens when you start learning music early; I never thought of it as applying to a physical activity.
Yes, I'm glad we chose this topic because I have learned a lot about the many benefits of physical education.
Cool Podcast. Swimming is a wonderful sport that can last a lifetime. It won't wear out joints or muscles. Also, I agree with teacher09, the sooner you start a anything...be it music, or a sport, the better chance of becoming an expert. Also, physical activity clears the head, helping one to beome a much better academic student.
