Insights About Myself Given This Blogging Experience

This is my first time participating in blogging. The more I blog the more comfortable I have become with the pratice. I have learned that it's not easy for me to express myself in writing. I am overcoming my phobia and becoming more comfortable using the computer. I am enjoying blogging so much that I am going to start another blog about my other interest. This is a wonderful way to share information and get feedback from others. Also, I found out that I am way behind when it comes to utilizing technology to enhance my profession.

It's great that you are stepping out the box and facing your fears of writing. Technology is so important in every profession, and this is one more tool that you can use to learn more about teaching, physical education and technology as a whole.

As a teacher, I see the benefits of PE on our children. It is not only a form of release for them, but it also is a great way to show skills in other areas. Socially and physically it has many benefits for the child but also for their learning in the classroom. I think PE teachers are taken for granted and should be commended for the jobs they do!

I must say I'm not a big fan of blogging, although I do believe it's a creative way of self expression. There was a time when the word "BLOG" was everywhere and I didn't even know what it meant. Being too embarrased to ask someone, I turned to modern technology and googled it myself! It's very important to keep up with the changes in modern technology. It plays a huge role in the way we bond and communicate with our children. Blogging is a great way to share new insights and can also be a beneficial learning experience.

I am new to blogging also. I thought it was for either very smart or very talkative people. I think as we participate in blogging we can learn to open up ourselves to new topics; we can learn to communicate with each other. In doing so we will learn so much more than just by studying, reading, or writing on our own.

You are not alone in being behind when it comes to using technology in the field. I have learned so much valuable information in this class. I think that the most valuable thing that I have learned by far is that professional development is vital to providing good learning experiences to our students. We have to stay abreast of new technologies, ideas, resources so that they will be able to compete.
